Auction houses are a great place to do research. We have access to a whole range of photos of classic items we'll never see in person.

From the two most recent Mears Auctions we get these wonderful press photos of the Brewers (click to enlarge).

The first was taken during Spring Training at the club's spring home in Arkansas in 1938:


The second is of the 1936 club, which would go on to win the American Association pennant:
